Op deze Dag van de Wetenschap zullen diverse bedrijven, universiteiten, scholen en musea in Vlaanderen hun deuren openen voor het publiek. Een uitstekende mogelijkheid voor een leerzaam dagje uit.

Bij Energy Ville in Genk gaat het over energieonderzoek. Tevens zullen de UBA sekties van Hasselt (HAC) en Midden Limburg (MLB) een infostand verzorgen tijdens deze open dag en assisteren zij bij een bouwproject voor de jeugd met het thema “bouw een rare thermometer”.

Woensdag 26 februari (her)start in regio 23&24 de eerste bijeenkomst.
Tijdens deze bijeenkomst zal de nadruk liggen op een eerste kennismaking met elkaar en het maken van afspraken.
De bijeenkomst zal in een kleine zaal van ’t Weverke te Schimmert zijn. In verband met aswoensdag zullen de deuren pas om 19u45 open gaan. De bijeenkomst start om 20u en duurt tot ongeveer 21u30.
Een agenda zal onder de deelnemers verstuurd worden.
Alle geïnteresseerden zijn welkom op deze bijeenkomst.

Op woensdag 10 juni vindt via Microsoft Teams de bijeenkomst van DARES Limburg plaats.
De bijeenkomst start om 19u30 tot 21u30.
Tijdens deze bijeenkomst zullen we nader stil staan bij het berichtenformulier.
Louis PA1LOU zal ons via Teams bijpraten en op interactieve wijze meenemen in het verhaal achter het berichtenformulier.
Het berichtenformulier wordt binnen DARES gezien als een elementair onderdeel om de communicatie correct te laten verlopen.
De bijeenkomst is ook voor niet-DARES deelnemers toegankelijk. Zij zullen toegang krijgen om als gast de bijeenkomst op Teams bij te wonen. Hiervoor zullen zij een email moeten sturen aan de regiocoördinator PD4JD met daarin het adres waarop zij een Teams-uitnodiging wensen te ontvangen.
(Tip: Regel de aanmelding vroegtijdig i.v.m. de mogelijk registratie van Teams.)

DARES regio’s 20, 21 en Limburg (23&24) plannen een internationale oefening met de Belgische collega’s van DARES, de B-EARS.
Tijdens deze oefening zal er gebruik gemaakt worden van Phone (HF/VHF/UHF) en ook de digitale mode Winlink (packet/VARA/pactor).
Deze oefening zal meerdere oefendoelen kennen. Deze worden later gepubliceerd.
Als voorbereiding kan de meterkastkaart, berichtenformulier en de software DWS gebruikt worden.
