He will discuss a wide variety of QRP operating styles, take a look at some equipment used, and activities QRPers are involved in. He will discuss the unique opportunity it provides for Foundation Licensees, what any ham can accomplish with QRP and give examples of his success. He will also provide a large number of resources to assist you with QRP Operations.

Nieuwe toepassingen voor NanoVNA en andere varianten Recentelijk is Herman PA0VRE er echter in geslaagd de berekeningsmethode, die hij eerder in de vorm van een spreadsheet publiceerde, nu als vast onderdeel in NanoVNA-saver op te laten nemen. Het bepalen van de eigenschappen van ringkernen is daarmee nog een heel stuk eenvoudiger geworden. Een mooie ontwikkeling, want wie van ons heeft er niet een bak vol obscure kernen liggen? In het Webinar op 12 maart a.s. presenteert Herman PA0VRE deze nieuwe functionaliteit, waarna Henk PA0HKZ ons zal bijpraten over een vereenvoudiging van de ‘Meetkamer’. Vervolgens zal Timo PE1FOD ons inwijden in een revolutionaire nieuwe mogelijkheid om eenvoudig en snel heel nauwkeurige frequentiemetingen te doen met een ‘Phase Frequency Analyzer’, op een NanoVNA-H4 met de nieuwe software ‘tinyPFA’ van Erik Kaashoek PD0EK, bij ons al bekend als ontwerper van de TinySA! |

Jack and Al collaborated to build the T41-EP, a 7 band, 20W, CW/SSB SDR transceiver and this presentation is chiefly about how they developed the high performance CW decoder.
Jack and Al co-authored the Software Defined Radio Transceiver (2022) and Microcontroller Projects for Amateur Radio (2019) books and numerous articles and presentations. They are also co-founders of the Greater Cincinnati Builders Group and were awarded the RSGB’s Bennett Prize in 2021 for their article on their “Double-Double Magnetic Loop” antenna article in the February, 2020, issue of RadCom.

Node-RED is a visual programming language that is very powerful but surprisingly easy to use. The language has matured over recent years and has the potential to be a valuable tool for radio amateurs. In this talk, Mike will provide an introduction to Node-RED programming techniques. He will conclude with a live demonstration to show just how easy it can be to add extra facilities to your rig.
